Restoring Damaged Smiles in West Texas
If you have a chipped tooth, cracked tooth, broken or missing tooth, Dr. Spivack can restore your smile according to your needs and budget. Restorative dentistry is about making your smile whole and healthy again so you can eat and smile with confidence. His restorative procedures include:
CEREC Dental Crowns
A dental crown (or cap) is a tooth covering that encases the whole tooth and restores its original shape and size. A crown protects and strengthens tooth structure that cannot be restored with fillings or other types of restorations. With CEREC technology, Dr. Spivack provides a finished dental crown in one visit! Although there are several types of dental crowns, all-porcelain dental crowns are the most desirable. Dental crowns are extremely durable and will last many years.
Dental Implant Restorations
Dental implants are a great way to replace missing teeth. They provide a fixed alternative to removable full or partial dentures and a better alternative to fixed dental bridges.Tooth loss is not only a cosmetic and functional issue but it may become a long term health issue. Every tooth plays an important role during chewing, speech phonetics, teeth alignment and facial structural harmony and esthetics.
Dentures & Partial Dentures
There are basically two categories of dentures – complete dentures and partial dentures. We use complete dentures when all of the upper teeth and/or lower teeth are missing. We use partial dentures when some natural teeth are missing, but not all. Partial dentures fill in the spaces created by missing teeth and can prevent other teeth from shifting.
